FLIP video Skateboarding Competition with Corbin Harris, 19th January 2010
FLIP SKATEBOARDING COMPETITION WITH CORBIN HARRIS NOW OPEN FOR REGISTRATION
World-class skateboarder Corbin Harris is calling local skaters to join the Flip VideoTM skating competition taking place at Monster Skate Park, Sydney Olympic Park on Tuesday January 19th from 10am – 12 noon.
Corbin will kick off the event with a demonstration and Q&A. Skaters will then receive coaching from Monster Skate Park’s iSkate Coaches before taking part in a jam format contest – open to skaters of all ages and skill levels. The skaters will be recorded using Flip Video digital camcorders. Prizes include signed Flip MinoHD camcorders, Element merchandise, and signed copies of Corbin’s book ‘Ultimate Guide to Skateboardin
Talking about the pocket sized digital camcorders, Corbin said, “Flip Video is an awesome accessory for skateboarders because we spend hours practicing moves so it’s good to be able to capture it when someone pulls off an awesome move!”
He continued “The best videos from the day will be posted on SLAM website and the Monster online gallery.”
Corbin Harris has been an ambassador for Flip Video digital camcorders since they launched in Australia at the end of 2009.

About Monster Skatepark
Monster Skatepark is the proving ground of skaters not only in Sydney but from all over Australia. The electric atmosphere and the cranking tunes at Monster pumps up any skater to push their limits of ability and endurance. Monster has been designed and built by Australian Ramp Design in consultation with top skaters. All the ramps are covered in hARD, an international comp-styled surface that delivers a fast and smooth ride (and dries quickly in the wet).
